According to the particularity of the application occasion, it is essential that the safe device special-purpose electromagnet works steadily and reliably, furthermore it must meet the strict needs for time behavior. This paper mainly focuses on the reliability of electromagnet releasing, and in terms of the current situation at home, a reliable and efficient detecting system for the electromagnets' power out response time is developed.With the safe hidden danger of the elevator up-direction over speed as the background, and the electromagnet used in the elevator up-direction over speed protection device (rope brake) as the carrier, this paper proposes the performance requirement of the special-purpose electromagnet system of safe device, makes an analysis of the time behavior of the DC electromagnetism system, and sets up a reliable mathematical model of safe device special-purpose electromagnet system with the reliability theory and the stress-intensity interference model theory. Aiming at the response time of the electromagnet system, this paper completes the total design of this detecting system, the selection of sensor and design of its circuit-adjusting, the design of the Virtual Instrument data acquisition system hardware and detecting software.With this detecting system, we have succeeded in detecting the releasing response time on more than 500 ZS230/90-13 steel wire rope brake electromagnets, which is produced by Shijiazhuang Brake Plant, and the detecting time resolution ratio is as high as 1ms, thus testing and verifying the performance of this detecting system, and this forms the foundation of the reliability evaluation of this electromagnetism system. Reliable and steady, friendly in operating interface, high in testing efficiency, and high in automation, this detecting system can be used as a detecting device to detect electromagnet releasing response time in the plants and other relevant depts. With the platform of Graphic Programming Language-LabVIEW, the detecting software of Virtual Instrument programmed in this paper has accomplished the real-time data-sampling, meanwhile, also provides a friendly man-machine interface for this detecting system.
