Planning And Design Of Street Greenbelt In The City

With increasing development of city scale, urban street greenbelt, being an public open space in system of green land, has played an irreplaceable role and become the crying need of urban residents, for it's openness, accessibility, smallness, variety and it's close relationship with people's daily life. The growth of urban street green land has become an effective approach in reasonable use of our land; rapidly improve the microcosmic condition and quality of environment Therefore, research on the plan of urban green land and build a feasible city open space become an inescapable problem.This paper systematically introduces 5 types of Street greenbelt of urban road. They are street-along green land, street-corner green land, building-front green land, cross-block green land and road center green land. This paper also provides a profound analysis of the features and layout of these green lands. Functions of these street greenbelts are: landscaping the city, provide play and leisure spaces, play an educational role, provide ecological zone of the city, shelter people when disaster and other social benefits.Taking people as a dominant factor, based on Atheistic, City Planning, Environmental Behavior and Environmental Ecological, this paper discusses the layout and scale of urban green land from a macroscopic perspective; investigate the basic factor of space arts of urban green land from micro level. With on site investigation and questionnaire, this paper analysis of the layout, functionality, landscapes and equipment, this paper also point out the success and deficiency of urban green land in Xi'an. Based on the investigation and analysis, this paper make following suggestions: rational planning, systematical arrangement, humanism design, reasonable selection of tree species, enforce the maintenance and administration, so that we can create a more harmonious and hospitable environment for the city residents.
