With the appearance of the crisis of energy, energy saving building is the trend of the development of world architecture. Clean energy especially the high efficiency of solar energy plays an important role in future architecture design. Photovoltaic technology which is the most sophisticated and has great potential in application of solar will be major part of solar energy building. The energy agency of the United Nations reported that building integrated photovoltaic will be the most important new industrial in the 21st century.From two aspects of technique and aesthetics, this thesis points out that photovoltaic module should be integrated into building in the stage of scheme design, in terms of the daylight request of PV module and utilizing the special characteristics of PV module such as color tissue and construction to integrate with building, architects should make PV module one organic part of building. Building on the foundation of summarizing tremendous amounts of excellent BIPV cases, and through feasibility analysis of the way of application on building, the author preliminarily explores the pattern of PV system image which is applied on building, it is hoped to provide a pattern which is illuminating and easy to manipulate for architects.
