With the absence of the conventional energy resource in the world, there is a sensible increase in air pollution. Wind Power, Which is the pure and renewable energy, is attached importance to instead of the conventional energy resources. The variable speed constant frequency wind power generation system using the doubly fed induction generator is widely used due to its various merits. But in laboratory, some necessary equipment is scarcity. So the pilot system is important to research the wind power generation system in the lab.This article, which is on the foundation of the wind power generation system, analyzes in very great detail the postulate of the variable speed constant frequency wind power generation system using the DFIG. In order to solve the disadvantage of using the D.C. motor to simulate the wind turbine, the article elaborates on the wind turbine simulation, which is adopting of the A.C. asynchronous motor based on the vector control of the torque current closed-loop. According to the simulated wind in the central-computer, the mechanical torque is calculated based on the parameters of the wind turbine. Making this value of the mechanical torque as the instruction of the vector control, the A.C. asynchronous motor could run in the light of the characteristic of the wind turbine. The characteristics of the A.C. asynchronous motor is adopted by the pilot system, because of its small size, low cost, easily maintain, and the vector control has the merit for having the good dynamic performance.In this article, the some conventional maximum power tracking (MPPT) strategies is analyzed, and found upon this, a new MPPT strategy is also proposed. The new MPPT strategy is based on the maximum power curve fitting (MPCF), and the strategy, which combines the Power Signal Feedback (PSF) method and the Hill Climbing Searching (HCS) method, adopts the double outer closed-loop between the generator's rev and the output power. At the same time, the maximum power curve is fitted online at real-time in order to keeping the veracity of the MPPT.The simulation of the pilot system is finished based on the Matlab, and the 11kW wind power generation pilot system is constructed. The system is made up of the central computer, wind turbine simulator and the DFIG with the back to back converter. The central computer does the job of the monitoring online, the wind farm simulation and the calculating the wind turbine's mechanical torque. The wind turbine simulation system drives the DFIG to generate electricity. The results show that the simulation system works well.
