The user-friendly characteristic is always the best standard for people to judge products neither good nor bad. Industrial products as a tool is extend of people's bodies, sense organs and thinking organs. Therefore, the essence of instrument's user-friendly feature embodies people's personality and satisfies people's need of use and taste. This already becomes the common sense for people to design products.This thesis takes the user-friendly feature of family health care products design as the study purpose and discusses the Ergonomics' role in the family health care design. Ergonomics is the technological implementing means of the health care products' user-friendly design and it is also a main way of combination of taste and technology. This thesis supplies main grounds of argument through the analysis of color, materials and form, this user-friendly design.Ergonomics supplies the body parameters for products' design. All kinds of products are controlled by people and how to bring their functions into full play and protect their function is the main part of the system of people-function-environment. Therefore, using the study ways of anthropometry, biology mechanics, physiology and psychics, Ergonomics makes a study on body's structure and functions and offers parameters of the measurement, weight, surface area, proportion, center of gravity and the relationship of body's parts; supply the force extension, direction, territory, action speed and frequency, center of gravity and action habit of every part of body; analyze people's organ function of characters of vision, hearing, feeling, smelling and skin; analyze people's body change and energy consuming in various work and laboring; discuss people's mentality change at work and its influence on work efficiency. The function's carrier is form and color. In the design of family medical treatment and care products, people should pay attention to making use of people's special apperceive and describing by analogy, metaphor and symbolism.
