The Investigation And Study Of The Design Of Household Medical Instruments For Aged People

Industrial design is a specialty aiming at regulating, designing and innovating the product, products' structure and industry's structure. The core of industrial design is people-oriented, and the production of design should fully meet the requirements of people. Our country is undergoing the period of transforming to the aged society, how to design for the aged people becomes an unavoidable issue.With the ageing of population increasing dramatically and the number of the aged rising more heavily in China, the society, household and aged people are mostly affected. Due to the Chinese economy is under developing, social infrastructure and security system of medicine and welfare, which bring troubles in living, going-out and medicine treatment to the aged. This paper discusses the issue of "designing for people", explains the human-engineering factor in industrial design through the analysis of the design of products for aged people and discusses the humanization of design form various angles and levels. The reason why the human civilization can develop and prosper is that it can meet the ever elevating requirements of humanization, so does the design. Design of humanization can genuinely represent the respect and care for people, and it is the most updating trend and a kind of humanist spirit, the perfect and harmonious combination of people and products, the inevitable outcome of the development of society, the progress of human and the highly development of civilization. In the process of planning and designing, the analysis and application of market research of market is very important.This paper tries to study it thoroughly and discusses the humanization principle of products' design from the aspects of physical development, psychological development and cognitive development of aged people so as to find the general method and theory of designing for special people.The topic of this paper comes from the needs of the development of society. By combining the study of practical design of household medical instruments for aged people, this paper surely has some theoretic meaning and is able to achieve relatively good economical and social benefits.
