The landscape envirment of university campus includeds the abundant function to express and the deep meaning art. This thesis according to the recent development condition of historic campus in china and from abroad,and basing on extensively looking up the literatures and the on-the-spot research, analyses the history of the old school of landscape features, landscape constitute and the scientific evaluation of landscape changes. And on this basis is summarized the general method of historical campus landscape update and optimize.
