With all-around development of avionics technology ,it brings forward new requirement for network equipment on plane .Because of the 1553B bus have no potential to accommodate avionics requirement, appropriate network framework is very necessary to be used in avionics equipments. The traditional Ethernet have more advantages than other network,but the deterministic problem prevent Ethernet technology using in avinoics. So the importance key to solve the problem is to design a new real-time Ethernet .In this thesis, we made an overview on the history and the latest achievements of avinoics technology.we also introduce the history of Ethernet and made a discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of Ethernet. Then we analyze the real-time performance of Ethernet and present several solutions to advance the real-time performance by use up-to-date technology such as full-duplex switch Ethernet. We also introduce the AFDX protocol used in avinoics .Based on the characteristic of the new avinoics system ,we provide the Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet(AFDX) to adapt to the requirement of the avionics , including the project of switched Ethernet ,end system and real-time .We put forward the hardware design of AFDX,including exchanged port, exchanged structure and the request of the capability of the switched Ethernet. Based on the hardware design,we design the program of AFDX,such as At the same time,we provided the standard and project of AFDX.
