Research On Detecting System Of WTFDS-Ⅰ Wheelsets Tread Trouble Detection

Under the circumstances of realizing the leaping development, the railway of our country has experienced five-time speed-raising. At present passenger trains move at the speed of 160km/h in the speed-increase section, the range of raising speed is wider and wider. The loading capacity and speed of freight train is also raising. The current situation of the railway network mixes running freight trains and passenger trains, the train density ranks the top in world high. So, the task ensuring safety of railway transportation is very arduous. The trouble of wheelset tread surface not only can jeopardize traffic safety, but also can bring enormous impact and destruction to the circuit, bridge of the railway, aggravate the tired damage intensity of the vehicle structure, increase the maintenance cost. For examining the trouble of wheelset tread, one traditional way is static check, i.e. while a vehicle overhauling regularly, to measure with the machinery special caliper rule after the wheelset has been broken up; the other is dynamic check, i.e. train examination staff check vehicles being applied with the artificial operating type by the means of hammer striking, visualization and physical touch. Lead to the trouble of wheelset tread surface cann't be discovered timely, missing check and mistaking check is always happen. This paper introduces some methods for detecting the trouble of wheelset tread at home and abroad, the basic principles and the advantages and weaknesses of each method are analyzed. Based on these, a new detecting system of WTFDS-I wheelset treads trouble is developed.In this paper, it introduces the WTFDS-I wheelset treads trouble detect system, it is a set of modern intellectual test system, this system is consisted of four parts: measuring device, signal box(preamplifier), signal processing host, information repeated display system. with supporting signal processing software, acquisition and analysis of high-capacity and multichannel dynamic signal are done, the trouble of train wheelset tread are diagnosed out in real time and dynamic, And promptly warn the operator to eliminate the safety trouble of the vehicle.It can ensure testing quality, reflect operating situation of wheelset in comprehensive judgment, prolong the service life of wheels effectively, reduce maintenance cost with the WTFDS-I vehicles treads trouble detect system. With the development and application of the machine, the freight train inspection works has the historical transformation from manual inspection to machine check, outside to the room in and the static state to the dynamic. It has active significance to technical promotion of railway transportation equipment, artifice modernization of test, safety of train transportation under the new situation.
