Hydraulic spool valve is not only the key components in fluid transmission and control technology, but also the main components that control the fluid pressure, flow rate and flow direction. The hydraulic cylinder and the open, close, speed, direction and action sequence of hydraulic motor are also controlled . In all kind of hydraulic valve, there are different mechanical properties and flow characteristics because of the different valve structure. As a kinds of hydraulic spool valves, it has many good performances which is easy to reduce noise and the impact of exchange and the position, shape of valve flow passage areas and stream beam angle will change with valve' opening . Through researching the hydraulic spool valve with V-groove, we provide references for optimization and characteristics of other hydraulic spool valve. In this thesis, finite volume numerical simulation and visualizing research are used to simulate the flow field inside the hydraulic valve with V-groove, and based on this, the author analyses the characteristics of flow field inside hydraulic spool valves, flux and fluid force feactures. The author also analyses the features of groove configurations and flow passage areas on theory. Here are several parts mainly in this thesis: building steady state model and transient mode of the hydraulic spool valve with V-groove, research on the flow characteristics, analysis of the flow force on hydraulic spool. The results are showing that V-groove flow passage areas is in a good linear relationship with valve opening, steady state and transient state qaulity are linear with valve opening, and the changes is small .The axial hydraulic and velocity force are larger with the opening valve .Because of inertial force of the flow, The axial hydraulic force is larger than velocity force.
