For recent ten years, with the rapid development of economy in our country, there is a significant growth of air traffic and air fuel. The original civil servicing system cannot satisfy the increasing traffic day by day. Building new airport,enlarging original airport and improving air traffic control facilities cannot readily solve the problem of air traffic increase. Now it is pressure how to effectively use the existing facilities .Airport is the node of air traffic, so the key to the problem is airport effective running.The work base on study on airport capacity evaluation :building new airports,enlarging original airports and air traffic fuel management and so on.The airport system involves two parts: landside and airside, it is essential to study on evaluating their capacity. The main target of analyzing landside capacity is the most thruput,serving level,serving flow,the section of capacity analyzing. The landside is made up of several parts which play various roles in the airport system. Each of them possibly cause the airport system congest. An airport landside system capacity is only evaluated by the means: each of function parts are solely done. So in the text the crux parts of landside were qualitatively studied when landside capacity was evaluated .Airside is also made up of several parts; but runway is crux one, so the text studied with a view to runway capacity. The key parameters of runway capacity involve turbulence separation,approaching speed,communally approaching distance,the ratio of air craft type. Considering the possibility of air traffic control procedure in fact, the time of landing airplane vacating runway was reckoned the crux parameter of runway capacity in the text.It was analysed that Airplane actual space and the time of landing airplane vacating runway were considered normal distribution. On acceptable safety level, runway capacity model was adjusted and consummated by adding cushion surplus, then more actual runway capacity model come into being. The time piece was considered to have effect on runway capacity in study on taking off and landing capacity model. It was suggested that controller should arrange proper airplane space on final and give departure traffic proper time segment in order to reduce accumulating effect of time piece.Integrating data of ShuangLiu airport of Chengdu and according to statistic data of scheduled flight ,we analysed the runway capacity of ShuangLiu airport by runway capacity model. Then the data of runway capacity which was educed on scheduled flight matches case the actual one .According to these data of model, we analysed the possible time piece of ShuangLiu airport and gave advice which possibly is useful of the realism.
