Unmanned Surface Vehicle(USV) has some good properties such as high speed, stealthy hull and high intelligent, which are all good for flexible combat. There are many kinds of such vehicles applied in military affairs abroad now, especially in west countries where America is representative of. They have set the technology of USV as one of the most important development direction; however, we still have a long way to run in the development of the technology of USV in our country. In order to perfect the marine combat system, this paper shows the concept design of USV. Meanwhile, this can bring along the development of enterprises relatively. The USV here mentioned is intellective to a certain extent, and can sail for a very long distance with a high speed to finish a series of missions, also can carry different modules according to mission required independently. Additionally, it has a stealthy hull.The principal task of this paper contains:First, according to the files relatively, design three blue prints that could sail with high speed and stealthy hull. Besides, the blue prints should not capsize easily.Second, analyze the three blue prints to obtain the best one to continue further designs concerned with the results of the model test.Third, choose the main equipments and make the structural design.Last but not least, the paper shows how to make the strength assessment of the engine room with the software PATRAN.
