| Heilongjiang is the high grade route of our country, which is rich in forest, coal,mineral, building materials and other resources along with it. Shipping is the main mode oftransport of bulk goods. With the implementation of the policy about the revitalization ofold industrial bases and the development of foreign trade, the waterborne transport quantityof Heilongjiang had a large growth. The pushing fleet composed by the1000t deck barge isthe main kind of ship in Heilongjiang river. Deck barge is one kind of deck cargo shipwhich is mainly to load and unload coal, ore, timber and steel and other bulk goods. Itusually doesn’t set cargo. The goods are stacked on the deck goods area. The deck isaround by the cargo retaining coaming. The nonpropelled deck barge has no power itself,and its Hull structure is simple. It can be built Conveniently and cost lowly. At the sametime, it has the large loading capacity,and it is not limited by the subject of the goods,which makes the Cargo handling become convenience. These advantages in economicmake it be favored by a number of shipowners. At the same time, its shallow draft andlarge cargo capacity make it widely used in inland water transport.For increasing the shipping transport capacity and economic efficiency inHeilongjiang river, deck barge of larger cargo capacity is required for cargo transport. Butthe design of a new ship need high cost and long period, so, refit the existing deck bargebecome the first program. This paper refitted a1000t deck barge, and made its cargocapacity reach to2000t. Taking into account of the narrow upstream channel, shallowmidstream channel in dry season, and the other factors, increasing the captain and depth ofdeck barge is inappropriate. So, increasing the width should be the only way for reaching to2000t cargo capacity. This paper doubled the width of a1000t deck barge, reminding thenumber of transverse members and structure form. On the basis of reminding the structureform, increased the number of longitudinal members. After increasing the width, the aspectratio was smaller than3.5, the width to depth ratio was bigger than5, exceeding the requireof main scale. Therefore, direct calculation of the structural strength was necessary.MSC.Patran is then used in this paper for the establishment of the finite elementmodel of the mother ship and the modified ship, while the different conditions the wavedynamic pressure is calculated by hydrodynamic software to loading on the model of the whole ship; MSC.Nastran is applied to the calculation of the whole ship finite elementdirectly. The results are reliable compared with the specification requirements. Through theresults we find that the whole ship strength shall meet the specification requirements. At thesame time, the results of the two ships are analyzed and compared to summarize the regularpattern of the components in stress and strain variation. Through the study of the structuralstrength we can come to the conclusion that the method to widen the existing deck barge isreasonable and feasible. |
