Marine integrated propulsion systems (IPS) concretize the marine propulsion system and electric system together, and provide the marine needs focus in the form of electric power. The whole system was scheduled, distributed and managed uniformly. And it is the developing trend of the further marine power system. The research on the electric propulsion system has great significance to the development of the marine power of our country.On the base of the original research in our laboratory, the designing and simulating studies of the integrated propulsion system using the gas turbine as the prime mover module has been accomplished. And the simulation study of the prime motor of different compound mode kinds has been carried through the elementary design effort of the all electric propulsion experiment bench which has been finished. In the study, the module of the gas turbine, S. S. S clutch, electric power system and some other parts of the system have been built by using the software named Matlab/Simulink. And it has been attained that dynamic curve of the power line frequency, current and voltage, prime mover rotational speed and torque and so on. The self-adaptive fuzzy controller has been designed and the rotational speed of the prime mover has been controlled successfully, the response time and overshoot of the system have been reduced a lot.The building of the mathematic model and the research of the numerical calculation of the different equation are the keys of the whole study. In the study, it has been finished that the model building of gas turbine by using big performance theory, and the five-order mathematic models of the synchronous electric generation motor by using Pack equation were built. And the mathematic model building of the synchronous electric generator by using the implicit trapeze integral algorithm was built also. The dynamic characteristics of the prime motor in the course of abrupt increasing load, abrupt decreasing local and so on, the power distribution and the dynamic response of parameters of the power line have been studied preliminarily through the analysis of the simulation consequence. And it provides the theoretical basis to build the all electric population experimental bench.
