Steam turbine has the advantages of large single machine power,long life,high stability and low fuel quality,so modern large ships still widely use steam turbine as main propulsion power.Along with the steam turbine is widely used in large ships,steam turbine controller industry has been rapid development,but when the new steam turbine controller system test with the real steam turbine,it makes some inconvenience.For example,the test is not convenient,the test is hard to do,the operator has hidden dange,and material and financial resources waste a lot.With the development of electronic technology and micro controller,we need to develop a steam turbine simulator,so that it can completely replace the real steam turbine to complete the joint control test with the steam turbine controller,and verify the control effect of the controller.The development and production of the steam turbine simulator started early in foreign countries,but in our country it started a little late.According to engineering requirements,a simulation simulator of naval propulsion steam turbine is designed based on ARM+DSP dual core heterogeneous microcontroller and the Ethernet is the communication mode.According to the working principle of ship propulsion steam turbine and the basic structure,we determine the basic composition of ship propelling steam turbine simulator system,then we analyse the movement rules of each of the major components of the steam turbine propulsion.The major components are analyzed by mechanism modeling method to complete the establishment mathematical model,and ultimately determine the overall scheme of the simulator system.With the usage of dual core microcontroller,the hardware platform of the ship propelling steam turbine simulator is built in this paper.The hardware includes five modules: the main processor module,the analog input and output module,the digital input and output module,the communication interface module and the speed output module.The design ideas of each module are explained respectively,and the related schematic diagrams are given.This paper has completed the overall software design of the propelling steam turbine simulator system.It includes the software design of the communication subsystem and the software design of the control subsystem,and explains the process of the instruction interaction between the dual core.The development of the human-machine interface for the ship propelling steam turbine simulator is completed with LabView as the development environment.Finally,the paper completes the hardware and software debugging of the ship propelling steam turbine simulator system.Including the main processor testing,high pressure regulating valve signal acquisition testing,real-time speed output module testing,steam pressure testing,real-time output network interface debugging and system debugging,it proved that the ship propelling steam turbine simulator can promote the turbine and the turbine controller to replace real debugging test.
