Integrated electric propulsion system is one of the main development of ship power technology,computer modeling and simulation method is an important means for system design and performance research.This paper built the simulation model of the integrated electric propulsion system based on the scheme design and ship test report,verified the feasibility of models.This paper studied the characteristics of the power grid on account of the grid high performance requirements of integrated electric propulsion system,which was of great significance for the integrated electric propulsion system design,power management control system design and operation instructions.This paper contains the following aspects:(1)Integrated electric propulsion system was divided into gas turbine and diesel engine module,generator and its excitation system module,rectifier and inverter device module,propulsion motor and its drive control system module.Then the simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink environment were established on the basis of their respective mathematical models.The ship propulsion motor is a multiphase motor,this paper analyzed and summarized the method of modeling multiphase motor and built its corresponding mathematical model,after that the simulation model of 15 phase permanent magnet synchronous motor was established and verified as the dynamic load module of the whole integrated electric propulsion system.(2)The simulation models of diesel generator and gas turbine generator were built on the basis of the above models and their dynamic characteristics were simulated in several working conditions,including no-load starting condition,slope loading condition,the ladder step type loading and unloading condition,by which their respective dynamic characteristics and the allowed loading and unloading rate limit were obtained.(3)The principle,implementation process and method,the key techniques such as power allocation and frequency adjustment of synchronization were analyzed.Then the method of diesel generator and gas turbine generator synchronization and power allocation were analyzed based on their own speed control characteristics.Also their synchronization simulation models were built,which contains two diesel generators and diesel generator with gas turbine generator.Several experiments were designed according to the actual ship sailing demand,by which both grid voltage and current characteristics and the parameters changing characteristics of generators in the synchronization process were analyzed,which is of great significance for the design and optimization of integrated power system in the future.
