With the rapid development of economic, modern road transportation is developed to the direction of the high speed, over-loading, great traffic quantity and traffic convergence, which bring forward the higher demands to the pavement performance of asphalt mixture. Because the asphalt pavement has the particular superiority, it has a very important status in the pavement, but in fact there are many questions of the skills and quality in acting, for example, the forepart strict disrepair, too short life-span, too low surface performance, rutting and critical crack, which puts forward to austere challenge to pavement researchers. In order to settle these existent problemss in the asphalt pavement, every country's researchers have performed a great number of works, and gained many harvests. It is one of the effective ways to put fibers into the common asphalt mixture.This article, through the aggregates screening experiments, and after the adjustment and optimization of mix composition, obtained the mixture composition of given materials which satisfied the purpose. Subsequently, basised on Marshall experiments, discussed the influence of cellulose fiber on the optimum asphalt content and experimental parameters of Marshall test, then obtained the optimum fraction of polyester fiber and cellulose fiber, they are approximately 0.18% and 0.25% respectively. Through dynamic stability tests of ordinary asphalt mixture and the polyester fiber reinforced asphalt mixture with fiber fraction of 0.15%,0.25% and 0.35% and cellulose fiber reinforced asphalt mixture under fiber fraction of 0.15%,0.25% and 0.35% respectively, made the conclution that the cellulose fiber can remarkably enhance the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture and analysised the reinforcement mechanism of fiber, Finally, established the dynamic stability computation model of textile fiber bituminous mixture, considerated the influence of ordinary matrix bituminous mixture dynamic stability,the textile fiber type and the textile fiber friction. A last, based on the water stability test of ordinary asphalt mixture and polyester fiber reinforced asphalt mixture in fiber fraction of 0.15%,0.25% and 0.35% and cellulose fiber reinforced asphalt mixture in fiber fraction of 0.15%,0.25% and 0.35% respectively,evaluated the water stability performace of fiber asphalt mixture , came to the conclusion that the water stability performace of asphalt mixture reduces with the increase of asphalt fraction. Polyester fiber can enhance the water stability performance of asphalt mixture and water stability performance of cellulose fiber reinforced asphalt mixture reduces but still can meet the request of residual stability which is bigger than 75% specified by the technical specifications.
