Off-highway vehicle is playing a more and more important role in the course of socialism modernization in our country, whose capability has directly effect on speed and efficiency of engineering construction. The working condition of the Off-highway vehicle is more abominable. The working device makes fiercely impact to rack while the vehicle will be subjected to road shocks due to special machine of the work device, which leads to tempestuously vibration of the whole vehicle. Especially, the vehicle will produce the pitching movement when it is subjected to shocks seriously, which does bad to the efficiency of the vehicle. The main goal of this paper is to develop a coupling damping system under the circumstance of vibration and impact from off-highway vehicle's working device, and this system can reduce the vibration of vehicle and enhance riding comfort and operational stability.Taking wheel loader as model machine, First of all, the feasibility and thought about development of coupling damping system has been discussed in this thesis. The coupling damping stiffness and damping function has been deduced. It has analyzed the character of stiffness and damping. Meantime, the physics model and mathematic model of the whole vehicle vibration separately about two freedom degree and three freedom degree have been established, which have been solved with software MATLAB/SIMULINK. In order to analyze damping system character accurately, a three-dimension mechanism model has been built, using the merit of the virtual prototyping technology based on multi-body dynamics. It has established the damping control system of gas and liquid coupling by making use of the powerful function of software ADAMS, which makes the whole vehicle model authentic. Then C spectrum range prompting signal under the common work circumstance of the wheel loader has been simulated. Then it has made out the acceleration time domain response and frequency domain response of bucket and rear axle.Using acceleration root-mean-square value as evaluating indicator, it has analyzed the structural parameters affect that the coupling damping system reduce the vibration of the whole vehicle, which offers reference for obtaining best technological parameter. It will enhance the research level on off-highway vehicle coupling damping control region when this study is finished, and establish the base for the exploitation of high performance off-highway vehicle.
