Wind turbine industry's rapid development in domestic, so people begin to pay more attention to the wind turbine's developed independently. There are a number of critical technologies need to be break through, the measurement technology is an essential technology, which is about through understanding wind turbine's operational characteristics and fault status. It's also the viewed point that is in foreign wind turbine's field. For the wind turbine's performance characteristics, the testing technology contains many elements. The vibration measurement technology is a key technology, which is to ensure the wind turbine's operational reliability and service life. This paper was working in this context. The wind turbine's testing program was designed, based on the basic vibration theory, the vibration testing technology in other heavy equipment, the unit character's requirement and the certification testing norms. And this testing program was carried on the real-time examination to the test unit at the scene, so we acquired a lot of the actual data. According to the test data and vibratory test analysis techniques, this paper analyses the critical transmission parts -- gearbox and generator operating mechanism, fault model, the characteristic frequency components. The results show that this testing program is able to solve practical problems which are about engineering condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, and provide the necessary technical support and protection for the development of new units. Finally, this paper provides some conception ideas for further relative research.
