In this paper, structures and operating principle of several typical hydraulic mounts are analyzed and compared. The mechanical and mathematic models of passive hydraulic mounts are presented and analyzed. From the view of hydromechanics, this paper analyzes the damping expression of liquid which in inertia track. It can be seen that the damp has the relationship among liquid density, liquid viscosity, diameter and length of inertia track.According to the damping force expression, mechanical and mathematic models of semi-active control hydraulic mount have been established, and it has been proved by means of dimensional concordance principle. According with parameters variable request of semi-active control, the dynamic response of hydraulic mount is simulated, the influence that each structural parameters and hydraulic parameters have the effect to dynamic characteristics is gained. It is considered that length of inertia track has marked influence on the dynamic response of hydraulic mount, verifying length of inertia track is realized easily and it is in favor of arriving semi-active control.Based on analysis of simulation result of isolating vibration characteristics, we can indicate that hydraulic mount system can attains optimal isolation effect preceded that of passive hydraulic mounts in wide frequency range according to pumping frequency adjusting track in different conditions, and semi-active control of hydraulic mount is achieved.
