The Ecological Landscape Planning Of Urban Green Space System In Tropical Coastal City

As the important natural element of urban landscape, urban green space is a significant means to solve urban environmental problems to human being, has many functions, such as landscape, ecology, aesthetics etc. It changes urban landscape at the same time. The planning concept of urban green space system has changed greatly since 1990's. Improving urban environment and maintaining urban ecological balance now become one of the important function of urban Greenland. The ecological landscape planning of urban green space system combined the theory and method of landscape ecology with urban green space system planning has opened a new way of rational distribution of urban Greenland, the better performance of the ecological function of Greenland, and the achievement of comprehensive function of recreation, ecology, environmental protection, culture, and education.The landscape ecological construction of urban green space system should has its own features since each city has its unique characteristic. As the capital of Hainan province, famous tropical island tourist attraction and most appropriate city for living, the city scale has expanded greatly of Haikou in recent years. The urban ecology environmental problem appears increasingly and urban green space present situation behind the aim of eco-city construction. Scientific ecological landscape planning of green space system should be taken in order to make the urban green space system in reasonable structure and optimal function, make Haikou become a ideal inhabitancy with tropical island scene and excellent ecological environment in deed. This is also the significance of this research.Pointed at the characteristics of tropical coastal city and the present condition of Haikou urban green space system, and combined the theory and method of landscape ecology with the researching characteristics of urban green space system, the paper put forward the evaluate index (the urban greenery area, the percentage of greenery coverage, the percentage of greenery,the average area of public park, the patch construct index, the use function index )of Haikou present urban green space by basing on material collection and on-the-spot investigation. Further more, the paper indicates that the urban green space system of Haikou is distribution unbalance of pubic park, faultiness urban green space system, over pursue tropical feature of urban roadway, plant diversity deficiency, landscape monotony. The coastal shelter belt can not take the defend function for the city furthest since the serious damage, low quality, monotony plant sorts, unorderly appearance and aging plant of coastal shelter belt. All in all, the unformed intact green space network construct, unbalance greenery distribution, illogical greenery pattern, the deficiency of bringing the superiority of coastal landscape into play are the main problem of Haikou present urban green space.In conclusion, based on the analysis of green space present situation, aimed at improving the urban ecological environment and meeting the demands of landscape recreation and ornamental effects, this paper elaborates mainly on the principles of ecological landscape planning of urban green space system in tropical coastal city and distributions of green space. Besides, based on the contents above and according to the analysis and judgment, the paper does study on the ecological landscape planning of Haikou urban green space system, trying to provide scientific supports for future ecological landscape planning of urban green space system in tropical coastal cities.
