The development of Automobile convenience people's life, but as a matter of fact it assists the earth pollution. No doubt electric vehicle decrease the pollution caused by normal car and trucks. Electric vehicle becomes a hotspot once again as the gas price increasing rapidly in recent years. After some key technique broke through, Electric vehicle are from trail-manufacturing to batch production. Tianjin Qingyuan Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd starts a new history of electric vehicle in China by exporting more than five hundred complete electric vehicle to America.Before the system is carried out, it is necessary to demonstrate the feasibility. It can dope out the performance of electric vehicle before it is trail-manufactured, and analyze reciprocity and influence among each component and subsystem. In order for high performance, short exploitation and low cost of our 'Happy Messenger' OR70 electric vehicle, which is developed for overseas market, we use computer to simulate vehicle performance at the exploitation prophase, achieve system integration and optimization. System optimization can achieve the best adaptation between power train and the vehicle. And then the limited on board energy can be used effectively to reach longer cruising range, and reduce final cost.We choose CRUISE developed by AVL as simulating platform through compared several simulating software. CRUISE can be used to match power train and performance forecast in course of car development. It also can develop and optimize hybrid vehicles, power train and control system of electric vehicles.The electric motor model, driving battery model, vehicle model and other components model in driving train of 'Happy Messenger' OR70 electric vehicle are built based on CRUISE, and the function of every module and the way setting parameter are showed. According to vehicle parameter and motive performance requirement, reducing cost is very important during choosing key components. And then define simulating tasks, acceleration ability, constant drive, climbing performance, cruising range and cycle run are simulated. The results indicate that motive power performance can satisfy the requirement. Trail tests show that simulating are reliable, the models are logical and practical. Moreover, it testifies that the components we chose for 'Happy Messenger' OR70 electric vehicle can make sure the complete vehicle motive performance match index required. At last 'Happy Messenger' OR70 electric vehicle were produced on assembly line and exported to the United States of America.
