The topic of this thesis root in the topic of"tubular through flow pump equipment and the dispatch and optimization of pump station group", which is one of the important items supported by science and technology of the 11th "five-year plan"Water resources are spatially and temporally uneven in our country. Many interbasin water transfer projects are built to satisfy industrial and agricultural production and people's living demand, which supplies an efficient path for the solution of the increasingly serious water resources crisis. Pumping stations play a very important part in water resources allocation and water supply, and at the same time they expend a great deal of energy. Therefore, it's of increasingly importance of the construction, optimal function and scientific dispatch of large-and-middle scale pump stations. On the basis of the summarization of pump station instation function both home and abroad, taking the forth pumping station of Jiangdu, the paper researches on the optimal function mode of single-unit and multi-units of lift pump station in the south-to-north water transfers project. A mathematical model is established which includes pumping head, set blade angle, rotation rate, conversion efficiency, time-sharing electrovalence and so on. The model takes the least running cost of pump assembly as objective function; takes water pump blade angle, set rotation rate, boot-strap number, hill and dale available machine time, etc. as decision variables; takes gross lifting water in schedule time and so on as restraint condition; adopts dynamic programming method and large-scale system experimental optimization theory on the optimization of the adjusting rotational speed and blade angle model. The simulation running result shows that, comparing with the no adjusting rotational speed and blade angle mode and at the same water transfer mission, the running cost can be saved by at least 5% of the adjusting rotational speed and blade angle mode and time-sharing electrovalence operation scheme. Therefore, it has vital supervision sense to the maintenance, rebuilding and optimal function of the lift pump stations in the south-to-north water transfers project, which have large change of pumping head.
