Along with the rapid development of higher grade highway construction in west of China, the rockfill embankment has become a major form of the expressway in mountainous area. Currently, the compaction characteristic and compaction mechanism research of rockfill need to be studied thorough; the high rockfill embankment was fill high, the deadweight was heaviness, the settlement mechanism was complex, the settlement was great, the settlement forecast of high rockfill embankment need to be discussed farther; moreover, impacted by the vehicles all along after construction,the dynamic respond analysis of high rockfill embankment also need to be studied farther.On the basis of the soil dynamics theories, this article Combine with the observation data the West Item Chang-zhang highway rockfill embankment experiment segment, designed and has done the high rockfill embankment's indoor model experiment, we gained the inner press variety of the rockfill on the process of vibration compact from the experiment, gained the vibration wave distribute and dissemination regulation in the rockfill, gained the relation of settlement and compaction number. Combined rockfill elastic-plastic constitutive model and wave theory, we analysed the rockfill vibration compact property and vibration compact mechanism, and established the dynamics model of high rockfill embankment vibration compacted.According to the elastic-plastic rheological mechanics characteristic of rockfill and the work load condition, this article thorough analysed the settlement mechanism and settlement development regulation of high rockfill embankment. For the settlement curve of high rockfill embankment accorded the gray index number characteristic of gray model and the behind invalid of Markov theory, we built up the gray optimize-Markov compound estimate model, We compare the measure value of some high rockfill embankment in Guangxi province to the estimate value of the gray optimize-Markov compound estimate model, verified the rationality of this predict model, and verified its superiority by compared to other few normal estimate methods.This article carried on the dynamic respond model experiment of high rockfill embankment. We gained the model embankment dynamic respond characters of autooscillation alteration rules, dynamic soil pressure distribution rules, acceleration alteration rules and on, analysed the motive respond characteristic of the model embankment, and built up the finite element analysis model of the model embankment dynamic respond, verified the rationality of the selection of rockfill constitutive equation and dynamic parameters in the finite element analysis by analysis the deviation calculate value between measure value, analysis the reason of produce errors.
