| Recently, there was a thought-provoking phenomenon that many cloverleaf junctions which should disperse the traffic of Beijing often were found among the list of "Jam Area". Obviously, one of reasons for the phenomena is that there are so many motor vehicles in Beijing. On the other hand, some cloverleaf junctions also exist some lacks in the design phase, even some cloverleaf junctions have congenital defects. So the cloverleaf junctions should not be the alternative name of traffic bottleneck.In this article, the main topic is to simulate Xizhimen cloverleaf junction by method of Agent-based Modeling, find the problem of Xizhimen cloverleaf junction, and try to resolve them. This paper, which is divided into five sections, introduces my work on computer modeling during the graduate studying period. And the primary work can be divided into these segments: Introduction of Agent-based Modeling; Setting of system model which includes environment, agent and rules; Comparative analysis on model and entity of Xizhimen cloverleaf junction and improving suggestions according comparative analysis. |
