In this paper, some related problems of rock fill wetting deformation of Concrete Faced Rock-fill Dam are studied based on analytical method of finite-element, statistic model and gray relative degree. The main contents are as follows:(1) The calculation principle of wetting deformation is analyzed. The analytical method and FE calculation step of wetting deformation are studied. The constitutive models of CFRD are studied. Solid element and FE contact element are analyzed. The second development of Marc is made. The relative subroutines are developed.(2) The influence of height of dam, valley shape, fill-up method and fill-up density, the character of rock fill and wetting deformation to rock fill deformation are analyzed. The statistic model of piezometric level of saturation line of rock fill is deduced. The profound research of wetting deformation and uplift pressure is made. The corresponding expressions of all components are given. The synthesis analytic model of rock fill settlement synthesis considering wetting deformation and uplift pressure is established.(3) The separating method of wetting deformation component is studied. The corresponding program is established. The relative analyzing among rock fill settlement components are analyzed based on gray relative theory.(4) According to Shuibuya CFRD, the 3D finite-element model is established and FE analysis of wetting deformation is proceed. The influence of wetting deformation to deformation and stress of CFRD is analyzed. Model building of rock fill settlement appling synthesis analytic model and conventional analytic model is analyzed. The influence of wetting deformation to deformation and stress of CFRD is synthesis appraised.
