As an energy-saving and environment-protecting A/C system, theA/C System utilizing natural cool resource is much different from thegeneral A/C system. Therefore, for popularizing such an A/C system, saving energy and protecting environment, it is very significant toanalyze the character, design process, operation effect, economyperformance and environment benefit of the A/C System utilizing naturalcool resource of river-water.First of all, the whole design scheme of the A/C system utilizingnatural cool resource of river-water is introduced detailed, that includesthe choice of cool and heat resource, the water system, the loaddistributing scheme, the basic equipment and other accessorial parts ofthe A/C system. By analyzing, it is known that the operation effect of theA/C system is very perfect.Based on the dry-wet work condition theory, a convenient methodwhich is fit for analyzing the performance and character of the FCUworking on the dry condition is proposed. By using the method, theinfluence of the temperature of inlet-water, the dry-bulb and wet-bulbtemperature of inlet-air for the cooling capacity of the FCU is analyzed, and a thermal performance curve which is for the FCU working onmutative condition is educed. The analysis and calculation for the FCU ofthe air-conditioning system built in Liyujiang Power Plant are done, andcooling capacity of the FCU is obtained. The dependable academicevidence is given for the design and choice of the FCU of the natural coolresource A/C system.By simulation calculating and analyzing temperature and speedfield of the indoor-air of a typical apartment. It is known that the A/CSystem utilizing natural cool resource can meet the demand of in-doortemperature even the out-door air temperature is up to 35℃, therefore, the A/C system utilizing natural cool resource of river-water is quitefeasible.By comparing between the A/C system utilizing natural coolresource and other general A/C systems, the first investment on mainequipments, year-cost of operation and managing of the former are found to be much less, and it is very obvious that the former gives great benefitto protecting environment because of less electricity consumption. At last, aiming at the problem that the residual pressure of thedischarging water is higher from the water-system of this air conditioningin summer, several reasonable scheme for improving the water system areproposed.
