The environmental protection and the construction energy-saving now become the hot issues in the construction industry. As one kind of new wall material, AAC blocks have a system merit such as strength, lightweight, heat-insulating and workability. It is used widespread in multi-layer, high-rise and added-layer building. However the AAC block wall still has some problems: such as wall crack, big area of layer of plasterer ash crack and partially hollow drum. The appearance of the crack not only affects the wall body's external appearance quantity, but also cause seepage. This will lead water content of the wall increased, then lower the wall body separate the hot function obviously. Therefore, the crack of wall is a nubbin technique problem restricting the application of AAC block engineering.This paper just under this big background, study on AAC's distortion characteristic, the basic properties of special supplementary mortar and the effect on the stability of AAC block wall. For the purpose of standard the measure of AAC block construction quality control, through optimisming AAC block construction controlled variable and control level, and providing the technical guide for AAC applied widely in actual projects.The research indicates:①Controlling AAC brock wall crack is a synthetic problem, we must comprehensive standard from the aspects of structure design, the material (AAC block and special supplementary mortar), execution technology and so on.②Temperature and humidity of environment effect on shrinkage of brick. Shrinkage of AAC block minishes with increasing of temperature and relative humidity of environment.③AAC block's main deformation is in the early age: the shrinkage can be finished 80% in 28 days, and volume can be steady after 60 days. So the writer advise that AAC block should be used after two month ,at least one month to finish shrinkage and get stability④AAC brock's equilibrium water content is 8.17%, and shrinkage is 0.149mm/m under the experiment condition.⑤prewetting effect on deformation of blocks greatly. So we should control amount of water in the prewetting cause.⑥For preventing the wall crack, we should use special mortar first. Under the experiment condition, we make up masonry mortar and finishing mortar by cement, sand, plasticizer ,VAE ,CE and fiber, the percentage of each component is 1:4:0.0015:0.01:0.002 and 1:4:0.0015:0.02:0.002:0.5.The outcome is ideal.
