With the development of the power industry, it's increasingly high demanded to keep the electrical equipment in power plants , electric substation and power transmission lines long-term safe operation. To prevent the occurrence of disastrous accidents, it is very necessary for electrical equipment to make state monitoring and fault diagnosis.For the demands of the power industry environment monitoring and diagnosis, after an in-depth study in technologies of ultraviolet discharge detection, image acquisition, image compression and embedded system, this paper has designed a kind of industrial endoscopic instrument which had the functions of image and UV data acquisition, data compression and wireless transmission. In the research of the industrial endoscopic system based on embedded Linux, the main works of this paper are listed as follows:â‘ Combined with the technical requirements of the system, focused on overall system design and verification, Researched on the technologies of embedded Linux, image acquisition and compression, ultraviolet diction and GPRS communication, which provide technical support for the industrial endoscopic system.â‘¡Researched on the hardware design of the industrial endoscopic system, Made the choice of embedded processor and operating system, image acquisition equipment, ultraviolet sensor, Developed the probe of industrial endoscopy. Transplanted USB camera driver and developed ultraviolet detection device driver under Linux core.â‘¢Researched on the establishment of embedded software development environment and software development processes, Chose Qt as embedded software development tool, Build the development and running environment of Qt/Embedded.â‘£Realized the software design and its technical specifications on the basis of the requirements of system function, Developed the software function by Qt, including the USB Video data acquisition, JPEG compression and binary-image compression for the image, ultraviolet discharge data acquisition, data communication by GPRS.The system has great practical significance in spreading and applying the new technologies of industrial endoscopy, and provides data base and technology support for state monitoring and fault diagnosis to the electrical equipment.
