Based on traditional braking system, the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) has been designing as an advanced mechanical-electrical- hydrokinetic system, which can improve a vehicle's directional stability and riding stability and enhance the braking safety by adjusting the braking pressure automatically to avoid the lock-up of wheels. This paper is carried out around Chongqing Scientific and Technological planning project. The main contents of the paper are as follows: the construction of test-bed for ABS performance evaluation and study on the dynamic characteristics of hydraulic control unit. Specifically, the following research steps have been completed:Firstly, the Research Status of ABS performance evaluation are discussed and studied, meanwhile vehicle dynamics models and simulation, including vehicle system model, vehicle tire model and brake model are established for simulation experiment. In addition, the model of hydraulic control unit was established by AMESim, a comparison between the experimental results and computational ones is given. The experimental results indicate that the simulation results are similar to the experiment ones. Moreover, based on studying of test-bed for HCU, this paper introduced the design scheme of ABS dynamic simulation test-bed for automobile, which can test ABS products in laboratory. In summary, the test-bed for HCU studied in this paper can conduct the static and dynamic functions test and simulation test on products. The design scheme of ABS dynamic simulation test-bed for automobile, presented in this paper, can test ABS products in laboratory. It provides an effective method for ABS studying. |
