Anti-lock braking system, ABS for short, is a kind of advanced braking system developedbetween the wheels and the road based on properties. It prevents the emergency brake processwheel "locking", improve the handling stability and steering vehicle. The anti-lock brakingsystem as a kind of improve vehicle active safety system, have been assembled into a growingnumber of cars. Its basic structure is: through to the car, on the basis of the original brakesystem, increase the wheel speed sensor and gear ring, brake pressure regulating valve, electronic control unit, fault indicator lamp and special wire harness. It is the principleof the electronic control unit, through the wheel speed sensors to collect real-time speedcompared with the actual speed, calculate the wheel slip ratio, the slipping rate comparedwith system setting threshold, by some mathematical algorithm, it is concluded that thecorresponding control command, Completed by braking pressure regulator brake pressureregulating work, accounting power adjustment, ensure the wheel lock, maintain the stabilityof vehicle. This paper hold the development of the anti-lock braking system, structure, controlprinciple and working process of the introduction, this paper introduces the developmentprocess and structure principle of the anti-lock braking system, from the theoretical levelfor subsequent braking control arms system performance test has laid a solid theoreticalfoundation. In anti-lock braking system performance test method of part, through theperformance test site and a brief introduction to the specific test items, make the readeron the ABS performance test have a preliminary understanding. According to the specificperformance test results, the performance comparison evaluation conclusion, the controlprocess, control strategy and system adjusting speed, split the road stability, system failureoccurs after the treatment measures, etc., on four different suppliers production of the brakesystem performance comparison evaluation. Through the comparative analysis of differentsuppliers holding brake system performance difference, put forward the correspondingimprovement Suggestions, provides the effective experimental basis for the later systemoptimization.
