| With the increase of economical efficiency consciousness in society and enterprises, more and more attention is paid to save the power energy, reduce the energy loss and enhance the power supply reliability. Transformer loss in substation accounts for about 10% of whole generating capacity. Transformer economical operation and backup automatic switch by technology realization is an effective means to save energy, reduce loss and enhance supply reliability. In the mean time, the increment of the MPU's (Micro Processor Unit) cost performance and the development of Electronic Design Automation tools, have offered convenient measures for the exploitation of the new generation monitor and protection device based on microcomputer. The design and research of the microcomputer monitor device based on RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computor) processor is the topic of this paper and the paper has developed a transformer economical operation control and backup automatic switch device for 110kV or below voltage ratings.This paper presents the issue according to widely expounding the advanced trend of the transformer economical operation control and backup automatic switch device, introduces the judgement of transtormer economical operation and the sample algorithm, selects a chip as the CPU of the device and describes the hardware platform and software modularization design of the device. In the design of hardware circuit, the paper adopts industrial grade chip MCF5282 produced by Freescale and based on RISC technology as CPU of the device, realizes the circuit of A/D converting, switch-in and switch-out module, I2C interface, serial communication, CAN, Ethernet and man-machine interface module with MCF5282 and other periphery chips. In the design of software system, it adopts software hierarchy idea, makes use of the modulirazation of C language, optimizes and improves discrete Fourier transform (DFT) in order to acquire the characteristic variables of the signal, implements the function of transformer economical operation control and backup automatic switch, communication and man-machine interface.The result of the device function test shows that it has accurate measurement, fast response, and correct communication, and its performance and function meets the designed requirements and target. Along with the development of the computer technology and chip technology, the microcomputer monitor and protection device based on the embedded real-time operation system will become the main developing direction of relay protection based on microcomputer in power system. |
