Research On Ecological Design Of The Urban Residential Quarter

Inhabitability is the forever problem of humankind and residence is one of the four elements of people's living. Everyone needs high quality house by optimization design.Now in Chongqing,some developers of urban residential quarters follow the overseas"new"idea like sheep.Because they do not take regional characters into account,the house can't satisfy the marketable needs.The research problem aims at various defects of current urban residential quarter such as single style, lacking character, dull whole structure, monotonous landscape design, simple settlement of sloping field,lacking ecological awareness and incorrect market location etc.The thesis mainly expounds the connotation and concept about optimizing residential quarter's design.It analyzes the existing problems and contradictions of current urban residential quarter in the respects of general layout, ecological environment, landscape design and the disposal of slopping field etc,and probes into the ways of optimizing design.The research is limited to the specific field of "urban residential quarter in Chongqing" and aims at it, as it is the most common residential form in the present domestic residential pattern in north area. It has so many relations and diverse features that it can comparatively fully reflect the existing various problems of current residences. It can cause us to explore human settlement construction in universal angle.This paper has introduced the architectural design of a typical mountainous residential quarter:"Huayu·Yu Zhou Xin Du"in Chongqing,and it can make us to master the universal method of architectural design in mountainous area.In the paper, the first chapter research the the most existing problems of design of current urban residential quarter,then propose the purpose and importance of the research.The second chapter starts with such viewpoints: ecological culture means the harmonious symbiosis between human and nature,then analyse how to harmonize the ecologic rapport in ecologic communities.In the last, designing principle and fabricative requirement of ecologic residential quarters also be put forward. The third chapter explore the landform's characteristicsof Chongqing's urban and suburban areas ,then aim at the analysis of features of sloping site architecture space and site and the constitutive points of sloping site architecture.The paper draws out the various Features of the space.Taking"Huayu·Yu Zhou Xin Du"in Chongqing as a example, the fourth chapter search on the general layout of residential quarter: the collocation of architecture is prominent ;the supporting facilities is abundant;outdoors environment is designed by optimization.The fifth chapter summarize the main defects of landscape design of current urban residential quarter and draw out the target and principle of landscape design.In the last, as an application of the theory,the paper study the environmental design of"Huayu·Yu Zhou Xin Du"in Chongqing.The purposes of the research are to absorb the design experience of Chinese traditional living-houses and gardens, draw on the researching results of foreign cities' planning and residential quarter design, and explore more feasible ways of optimizing residential quarter'sdesign so that helpful ideas and suggestions are supplied to the current residential quarter's design.
