With incessantly enhancing of steam turbine capability and parameter and broad application of advanced digital control system, the importance of computer simulation in exploiting processes of steam turbine and its control system is not doubted. A real-time simulating system that can reflect the actual dynamic performance of steam turbines is an absolutely necessary tool in the design, production and alteration of diversified steam turbines. With modularizing modeling technology, the modules needed can be conveniently selected from the module storeroom which has been founded according to the specific structure of the simulating object, and then system simulating model can be formed.The modeling for the steam turbine proper usually adopts the Lumped Parameter Method, and by which the major differences between the different modules founded are in the division of modules and calculation of flow. The present modeling of steam turbine modules is not intuitional enough for consumers, especially in the descriptions of distributary and extraction; furthermore some modules have not considered the influences of the pressure and enthalpy changes in cubage between neighboring stages on the next stage. This paper provides a method with the basis of steam turbine structure parameters and design parameters on the basis of the research on the present steam turbine modules and the contrast of their advantages and disadvantages. Such general modules of steam turbine proper system as steam turbine regulating stage module, steam turbine non-regulating stage module, steam room module, middle cubage module are established on the basis of steam turbine structure parameters and design parameters, which makes modeling simpler and more intuitional in the future. And on the basis of this, the general model for single stage efficiency of steam turbine is established.The main contents are as follows:①Analyze system structure of the steam turbine proper, and measure off the system range: from superheater exit to condensator entrance, with process of steam flowing and working, including steam valve, steam room, high pressure casing(HP casing),intermediate pressure casing(IP casing),low pressure casing(LP casing) and steam pipeline, and some also including reheater;②Measure off modules of the steam turbine proper: steam valve module, steam room module, steam turbine regulating stage module, steam turbine non-regulating stage module, reheater module, and middle cubage module;③Establish mathematical models for each module of the steam turbine proper system: establish models of steam valve, steam room, steam turbine regulating stage, steam turbine non-regulating stage, the middle cubage and reheater module with mechanism modeling method;④Establish modules storeroom of the steam turbine proper system: use FORTRAN to complete all the modules which must have the uniform standard interface;⑤Establish corresponding resource module storeroom: complete module storeroom of the thermodynamic character of steam-gas for sustaining modules;⑥Make correlative simulating experiments on each module of the steam turbine proper to validate the established modules;⑦Establish general model for single stage efficiency of steam turbine ,and validate this module.
