In thermal plant, the main use of the steam turbine system is to serve as a prime engine, which drives the generator. Lube is an indispensable material in steam turbine generator and serves as a lubrication, control, cooling and pressurization system. It’s normally working is an essential precondition for the steam turbine system. Control of the temperature of the lubricating oil is of very important significance for steam turbine system. In steam turbine system of a thermal plant, the temperature of the lubricating oil is usually controlled by adjusting the switch of the radiator, by which the cool water transits. At present, the temperature of the oil is adjusted by manpower in most of power plants in China. Not only the precision of the adjustor is low, but also it is likely to cause accidents. So it is significant to study an automatic control system for the temperature of the lubricating oil of the steam turbine system.In this paper, I analyze the lube system concretely, and on the basis of the analyzing, I set up a basal frame of function model of the system. Because the function model has uncertain parameters and possesses large inertia, so I adopt fuzzy control to get over it. Also in this paper, I have shown the rationale and the course of design of fuzzy control. In order to verify the effectiveness of fuzzy control algorithm designed in this paper, computer data modelling was used. According to the practical experiences, model of the temperature of the lubricating oil has been built.Based on the fuzzy control system, the fuzzy control parameters was testified and designed. Fuzzy controller designed in this paper has excellent proprieties. The actually temperature can be stable around the set value, and the error was acceptable.In the last section of this paper, a simulation by MATLAB is offered. By debugging the simulation program, the relatively optimal parameter is confirmed, and by this case, we can see that fuzzy control is not only feasible but also effective.
