And summarizes of four basic types of roads network which include square nets, annular nets with radiation shape, variable nets and multiple nets; settles assessment methods of structural types of four kinds of basic urban roads network with three assessment indexes, the non-line coefficient, accessibility of roads network, connective degree of roads network; analyzes and summarizes adaptability of different layout of networks according to assessment results and characteristics of various structural type of roads network; puts forward the analyzing methods of structural type of roads network which meet the demang of city development.This article analyzes the advatages, disadvatages and adaptability of various arrangment types of cross section of urban roads; researches width settlement of various components of cross section planning of urban roads; specifies the various elements that influence arrangment types of cross section of roads; puts forward that reasonable pavement width is specified according to clear width,the influence of converse pedestrian flow, the width of functional facilities and the influence of bus stops.Meanwhile, through the analysis of adaptability of structural type of road network of Harbin, this article puts forward the planning suggestions of urban roads network of Harbin.Combining with the example of planning of cross section of roads of SongBei New district, it analyzes and proves the reasonable arrangemeng methods of cross section of road.By the research of adaptability of structural type of urban roads network and arrangement type of cross section of urban roads, it can increase the efficiency of roads network, improve traffic environment and enhance efficiecy and service level of traffic facilities, make city roads provide better services for city inhabitants.
