The Research On Road Cross-section Mode Based On The Complete Concept Of Road Cross-section

As the bond between areas of city,urban road cross-section bears multi-function including transport,landscape,Municipal Pipeline and so on.However,most of urban roads were designed based on vehicle priority in Binhai New Area,which decreased space of public traffic and slow-moving traffic.The author studied many cases and advanced design theory at home and abroad,in order to improve the overall quality of urban roads in Binhai New Area.Based on the present situation of road cross-section and planning policy and target,the author proposed the concept of complete street,which can provide enough space and safe environment to public traffic and slow-moving traffic,which also can promote the vitality and development of city.The author studied the flexible of complete – street-concept for different level roads,meanwhile,the author made a particular guideline for urban road cross section planning in Binhai New Area.At last,the concept was applied to the reality in Xiangluowan CBD and Tianjian CBD,which proved the concept adapt on road cross-section well.Conclusion as a result,complete street concept can promote the quality of street and vitality of city,which can be applying to guide the road cross-section planning in Binhai New Area.
