The traffic jam had restricted development of many cities, and the intelligent transportation becomes main one of methods to solve this question. This article takes the macroscopic transportation flow dynamic model as the foundation, to research the problem of network traffic signal optimization control.Through observed intelligences transportation system concept and development situation in domestic and foreign, the essential method about how to make transportation flow model had been studied, and the simulation situation detail about transportation flow in domestic and foreign had been narrated.Then based on car-following theory and traffic flow model, the sole intersection traffic flow dynamic model was been established. On those foundations, network transportation simulation model was been studied and imitated by mathematical calculation.Following basis of the macroscopic transportation flow model research, the sole intersection signal control and the multi-intersection net of four intersections signal control was optimized, analyzed, calculated respectively.At last, the simulation program which imitate multi-intersection net traffic flow and signal control was been developed by Borland C++ Builder IDE. The simulation result indicated that the signal optimization control, based on the macroscopic transportation low dynamic model, has the feasibility.
