This paper is original from "Development to the Illuminometer Auto-testing System", supported by Shenzhen Academy of Metrology and Quality Inspection. One aim of this project is to analyze the various error factors, in order to ensure that the system being developed to achieve the required precision.Automatic detection technology plays an important role in improving the capability, efficiency and accuracy of metrology system, meanwhile, has great economic and social benefits. However, because of the influence of equipment, environment and other aspects, automatic detection system will inevitably have errors. So it is necessary to study the errors in the testing process, use the isolation technology and error correction, in order to control the system's accuracy in the required scope.The author mainly works on: (1) reviewing the theory of illumination standard; (2) error analysis and mathematical modeling of illuminometer testing system; (3) studying the optical field of incandescent lamp, analyzing the difference between incandescent lamp and standard lamp; (4) analysis of uncertainty in illuminometer testing system. The works mentioned above provide theoretical and experimental foundation for the further use of error correction technology to improve the accuracy of testing system.
