Research On Illumination Of Medium And Short Tunnels In Expressway

Highway tunnel has the advantages of reducing highway mileage,improving transport efficiency,saving space,using underground space and maintaining the ecological environment, etc. In recent years, the old concept such as "Hill bypass on", "filling the digging," has been replaced by a tunnel, bridge and Panshan Road which are better for environmental protection.In China ,more and more mountain highway tunnels appear. The Tunnel lighting is designed from the visual characteristics of the driver, the pilot road safety to meet the needs of visual information collection and improving the safety of motorists and increasing comfort for the premise, thereby reducing operating costs.The dissertation mainly relies on the rebuild project of Guangxi Guiliu freeway tunnel illumination system and uses the successful experience tunnel illumination construction of Fujian province as reference. Through the practical investigation and analysis on the medium short tunnels of Guangxi and Fujian province freeway, the dissertation investigates the rules of natural light varies with the tunnel depth and the relationship between driver's driving behavior and driving mentality. In addition, the article uses SPSS software to establish a mathematical model to carry on the analysis, then obtained the variation curves diagram which shows the road surface illumination changing along with the tunnel depth and natural light outside in each time interval of a day, and finally has established the mathematical model that displays the relationship between the tunnel depth and road surface illumination in the natural light situation.In addition, the paper also analyzes the reflective properties and the tunnel vision inducement, showing the analysis of the performance of the lighting and the lighting control. The paper presents detailed modified scheme aiming at the existing problems in the illumination designs of the two tunnels in Guangxi and gives the effect and economic evaluation.Based on the actual use and investigation of the tunnel in practice, in the paper,we propeose some problems which exist in the design, use and protection of the tunnel lighting system, make a inclusion about the experience that was achieved in the practical application and analyze the problems that should be regulated in this field .By this means, we can provide some reference to improve the rules and the theory about the tunnel lighting system.
