The Research On Design Method For Scripting-Architecture

The design method concerned in this paper matched in this way: firstly, regarded the analysis of architecture as the basis of design method, then, brought and combined the computation language of Script with this basis. With the intercrossing of these different knowledge, the focus of this paper was the design method for Scripting-Architecture. The analysis of architecture kept its focus on two points: one was how to abstract the typology in architecture; the other was how to establish the logic of tectonic. These two points formed the source of the database in the Script. Combined the knowledge of date-structure, algorithm and the other knowledge introduced by this computation language(such as artificial intelligence, artificial life), the task gathered in this paper were to detect the possibility in the design method of Scripting-Architecture.The working institution in this paper contained three concepts-----theory walking withpractice; extending from simple to complex and from abstract to real-life, and combined these concepts with the example of Chinese Four--Dimensional-Buildings. The Scripting--Architecture can bring more possibilities to our design research. But it also needed the participation of the other design method. At last, this paper informed the new possibility of the interactive architecture with open-resource.
