The Modernity Expression Of The Tectonics Method Of Vernacular Architecture In Hunan Based On Typology

With the rapid urbanization and the spread of internationalist architectural styles,there are two tendencies in the construction activities,no matter in the city or in the countryside: one is to completely abandon the regional tradition and invest in the assimilation of modernism style;the other is to apply the traditional forms rigidly and simply imitate the historical style.These two tendencies not only lead to the loss of local construction spirit and traditional architectural culture,but also make a large number of new buildings not suitable for the local people’s life style and aesthetic concept,and the construction strategy does not conform to the actual situation of the local geographical environment,construction technology,building materials,economy,etc.This paper chooses the local architecture in Hunan Province as the research object,aiming to study the local architecture left in Hunan Province and the construction way inherited by typology,explore the formation principle and internal mechanism of the construction method,summarize the construction strategy and culture in the local construction activity,and then find the construction method in the modern architecture This paper attempts to establish a theoretical connection between the construction methods of local architecture and the design methods of modern architecture,to find the translation methods of the construction methods of local architecture in the modern architectural design,and to make the contemporary architecture take more measures in the construction activities of specific regions under the guidance of the construction methods of local architecture Good adaptability strategy,continue the expression of regional construction spirit and architectural culture.This paper takes typology as the research method,extracts the prototype of local architecture,explores the transformation method of construction prototype in Hunan local architecture from the aspects of environment and site strategy,settlement form,architectural form,architectural space,structural form,structural decoration,etc.,and summarizes the application method of local construction technique in modern architecture,namely "modernity expression".By analyzing the expression of local spirit and region in contemporary architecture at home and abroad,and combining with the architectural practice projects in which the author participated in the design,this paper presents a more intuitive way to show the type conversion and application of local construction techniques,hoping to build a design concept and constructionmode of contemporary architecture based on the specific regional culture,and realize the traditional construction spirit and the present The natural connection of modern architecture.
