Currently there are a large number of traditional POS terminals with single business,interface solidification and process solidification on the market.These traditional POS terminals have played an important role in financial services in the past period of time.However,with the developing of financial business,the traditional POS terminals have broken through the traditional consumption-based business model and have been faced with series of value-added business requirements,customer customization requirements and so on.On the other hand,the update process of traditional POS terminals is cumbersome,which can not adapt to high-frequency changes of requirements.The hardware platform adopts the BCM5892 security processor as the main control chip to carry on the design of the function and the security and the optimization of hardware performance.The software platform employs Linux system,based on the in-depth analysis and reasonable configuration of script file to achieve the scripting of payment system and remote update and other functions.On the basis of the work above,the optimization of design of driver program is carried on considering the performance of operating system,which enhances the efficiency and the portability of the script files.Test results indicate that the design of the script system software can correctly parse the instructions in the script file and achieve the entire payment process accurately and securely.Besides the remote updates are accurate and convenient.The software system can effectively control the behavior of the terminal by changing the configuration of script,thus improving the flexibility and maintainability of the script POS terminal.Based on design of the script POS terminal in this thesis,the memory size of the application is reduced by 7.4%and the speed is improved by 16.5%.
