Dynamical Changes Of Landscape Of Urumqi And The Study Of The Driving Factors

The landscape change has great influence on the sustainable development of ecology environment, society and economic. The study on driving factor of the landscape change can greatly help us to understand the essential of the landscape. Based on it, we can predict the developing trend of the landscape change. This paper regard Urumqi this typical oasis city as the research area, combining the theories and methods of correlative disciplines, such as geographic information system, urban ecology, this research develops the fundamental analysis on landscape change and human driving factors of Urumqi, to seek the path in which landscape ecology can exert on landscape dynamics variation in process of the acceleration of urbanization under the special situation, The study will make greatly sense to this area's sustainable development and the future development plan, moreover also can be used for reference on other oasis cities.Based on the land-use map of Urumqi built-up distric in 1983 and 2005(scale 1:50000), using the geography information system program MapGIS7.0, the spatial pattern was analyzed primarily from the overall landscape properties, the area properties, the perimeter properties, the numbers of patches of landscape elements and so on. And the analysis on the driving factors to the Landscape pattern was given after it. Later on, making use of the 23 years' social economic data in that area and using the SPSS13.0 statistics software, humanities factor was established as the main driving factors.
