This thesis focuses on the problems of adjustment of structure shape , static, stability and dynamic behavior of Binhai Bridge in Zhejiang, a self-anchored suspension bridge.Firstly, the author detailedly presents process of building up the integrated finite element models for Binhai Bridge by MIDAS/CIVIL and ANSYS, large-scale FEM softwares. Then the reasonable main cable and hanger force of completed bridge stage are gained by adjusting. The structural behaviors under loads of construction stages and completed bridge stage are analysed, especially the structural behaviors are compared for different longitudinal slopes of main girder. And then, seismic response are studied by the time history analysis and the response spectrum analysis, and also the main factors which influence the stability are discussed. Therefore, the static, dynamic and stable behaviors and analysis method of self-anchored suspension bridge are comprehensively understood.
