| With the development of national economy and improvement of people's living standard, the demand of speed and comfort of vehicle was increasingly improved, for dedicated passenger line, the demand of settlement of subgrade was stricter and stricter. The designed speed of Wuhan-Guangzhou dedicated passenger line was more than 200km/h, which was required to pave ballastless track at a time, and the post-settlement of ground was less than or equal to 1.5 cm. Some of the subgrade was on the deep soft soil ground, while, the soft soil and the incrustation of surface layer distributed asymmetrically. The conventional ground treatments were hardly possible to control the post-settlement of subgrade. So, the study was very exigent.Ground treatments adopted in soft soil subgrade of Wuhan-Guangzhou dedicated passenger line,were researched and analysed with programming, finite element analysis and model experiment.Firstly, common ground treatments of soft soil ground were introduced detailedly, the calculational methods of settlement for composite foundation and pile foundation were consulted, calculational methods of settlement of ground treatment were reasearched, and programmed with Visual Basic 6. 0.Then ground treatments adopted in soft soil subgrade of Wuhan-Guangzhou dedicated passenger line were researched and analysed, post-settlement were calculated and analysed, which provided references for the design of sungrade of Wuhan-Guangzhou dedicated passenger line.Afterwards, a new ground treatment--pile-board structure adopted in Wuhan-Guangzhou dedicated passenger line was researched and analysed with reduced scale (1:10) dynamic model experiment, which provided references for the scientific research and design of pile- board structure.Lastly, forecast technic of settlement of ground was researched and analysed. The reasonable forecast methods were gived, and settlement of ground on a time in the future was forecasted according to some observation data.
