Research On Observation And Analysis Of Settlement For Soft Soil Ground Of A Dedicated Passenger Line

With the sustained growing of national economy，the high-speed development ofsociety and improvement of People’s living standard，the demand of efficiency andcomfort of people travel was increasingly improved. In the area of transportation，speedrepresents the efficiency and competitiveness，therefore，the rapid development ofhigh-speed railway well adapted to the needs of society. Whether the normal operation ofhigh-speed railway or not，the settlement of dedicated passenger line ground is a veryimportant factor. The designed speed of this Dedicated Passenger Line was more than200km/h，was required to pave non-ballasted track at a time，and the post-constructionsettlement of foundation was no more than15mm. This Dedicated Passenger Line alongwidely distributed the thick layer of silt，soft soil，Q2~Q3clay and other typicalfoundation，so research on foundation bearing capacity，settlement and deformation lawof large-scale plate loading test was urgent to revised estimate of settlement，optimize theground treatment measures.Base on this Dedicated Passenger Line project，this paper is according to thePassenger on-site geological conditions，construction characteristics and environmentalconditions，and the large-scale plate loading test were used to analysis and research thesettlement of soft soil.Firstly，common computing theories of the settlement of soft soil ground wereintroduced detailedly，and based on actual experience and on-site to determine the testcriteria， test requirements and precautions.Secondly，based on the large-scale plate loading test result，systematically organizedand analyze the measured data， used curve fitting to obtain the settlement andcompression modulus of dedicated passenger line foundation.Then based on the compare of the measured results，CPT and soil text，get theReasonable conclusion，as well as load，temperature and other factors on the impact of settlement.Finally，through the physical and mechanical properties of the soft soil foundationwhich were determined，to provide the basis of the estimated settlement of the groundand the Optimization of ground treatment.
