As substitute fuel for automobile engine, LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and natural gas are used widely because of their characteristics of perfect mixture performance, full combustion and low emission. For achieving the excellent performance of gas engine, the development and investigation on the simulation platform for electronic control technology of gas engine was done in this dissertation. The simulation platform, whose core is IPC (Industrial Personal Computer) which take the place of ECU on gas engine, can conveniently carry out adjusting experiments of engine and compare control effects of different control strategies in experiment process. The establishment of the simulation platform supplies a better software and hardware environment for the basis study of effective control laws exploration for various conditions of gas engine.The hardware system of the simulation platform for electronic control technology of gas engine, which consists of dual-duel electronic control engine, gas supply apparatus, control apparatus and load-measurement apparatus, was established.The study on gas injection control technology was carried out, in which the gas injection control model for gasoline/LPG dual-fuel engine was established. Simulation results of the model show that the multi-point sequential gas injection control and the highly precise control of fuel injection impulse width and injection timing are achieved perfectly.The research on ignition control technology of gas engine was made, in which the ignition control model of gas engine is established. Simulation results of the model show that the precise control of the spark advance angle and closure-angle and the single-cylinder knock control are achieved perfectly.The experimental study on the simulation platform for electronic control technology of gas engine was made. The test results show that the gas injection control, real-time and online modification of engine control parameters and the control for various conditions of engine by applying different control algorithm can be realized perfectly and conveniently by the simulation platform for electronic control technology of gas engine and gas injection control model.
