A new device which can separate the clear water from the turbid water by hydraulic power was invented by the term whom devoted into the hydraulic teaching and research section of Hydraulic and civil Engineering College of Xinjiang Agricultural University .This device only depends dynamic turbid's hydraulic power of itself to obtain the clear water ,and the separated sediment are all get rid of by itself's hydraulic power, without any other power and chemicals input, due to it's simple structure, lower cost and lower running cost, the device changed tradition city water which depend add chemicals to dispose sediment, greatly improved the water quality, bring benefit to human's health and the surrounding which around us. It can resolve the problem in people's living water and the advance skill's popularization and application in spray irrigation and drop irrigation in the area of XinJiang, especially to the people whom living dispersed along the more sediment river.By using physical model experiment, this paper uses the uniform orthogonal designs method and the projection pursuit regression(PPR) to optimize of the"Turbid water hydraulic power separation equipment". First of all, we select four factors such as: height ,bottom outlet, concentration, incoming discharge of the"turbid water hydraulic power separation equipment".we studied the experimental data by uniform orthogonal designs method, and we also use PPR method focus on the above four factors . We found that the main influencing factors to each indicators. Secondly, we verificated the main influencing factors about the separation characteristics of water and sediment which be involved with the height of cylindrical section, cone angle and incoming discharge by the farther experiment. According to the physical model experiment research, combine the analysis result of microcosmic and macroscopic, the main influencing factors of the device about the separation characteristics of water and sediment can be obtained:(1) Bottom outlet is the main influencing factors of the water consumption rate, concentration is the main influencing factor of the sediment concentration of overflow, incoming discharge is the main influencing factor of the overflow rate.(2) The height of the cylindrical section of the device is secondary factor of the water consumption rate,overflow sediment concentration and surface load rate. In order to enable a majority of sediment separated which fallout effect depend on centrifugal force action noticeably, the height of the cylindrical section of the device too high is inadvisable .(3) Cone-shaped bodies is the main region for separation, we make use of the different cone angle in the experiment of sediment deposition in still water, such as 30°, 45°, 90°. Draw a conclusion, 30°cone angle is good to sediments ettlement, which concentrated effect heigher than 45°, 90°.(4) Aim at the device that it's diameter and height is fixed, it is supposed to be control a reasonable range for it's bottom outlet. Author ascertain the limitation concentration to the different bottom outlet by experiment.(5)Handling capacity for turbid water of the device was effected by the discharge. As result, there have been optimum range of capacity to the device that was fixed structure when to handling serum concentration turbid water.
