Village in the City is a kind of new urbanism problem on Chinese rapid urbanization. Along with the economic development and the raising of people's living standard, the problems of urban village are stressed increasingly, which are seriously affecting the urban economy and development. So it is a developing tendency to carry out transformation for the village in the city.The transformation of urban village is a great, complex work. It involves many factors such as economy, society, culture and politics. It concerns village collective, village people, government and real estate promoter. Now, the study about the urban village's transformation isn't rich, many problems need to be studied and to be solved. Here lies the reason that the author selected the topic about the problems of village in city for his MA thesis.The thesis stars with the investigation of phenomenon in the village in city, analyzing the current situation of village in city, including the present condition and characteristic, major existing problems, investigating the reason in the village and the necessity of the renewal. Therefore, it discusses the countermeasures and advices of the reformation. And then this text regards village in Wuzhou as the case of studying, to situation of the development, existing problems and difficult point that carry on overall, careful analysis in transformation. In use for reference abroad similar question and domestic some city experience that village transforming at the foundation, direct against the question that the village exists and difficult point issue of transformation, I have put forward some new thought and proposal.
